The Warehouse

Closed now. Open weekdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Switchyard Park pickleball courts

Nobody has checked in yet.

I’m here: tap it when you arrive. Your phone checks that you’re at the courts first. A check-in lasts two hours, or until you tap “I’ve left”.

How many are playing: after you check in, you can say how many people are playing, counting yourself. The box shows the latest answer, like “14 of 24 playing,” so everyone can see how busy it is. It’s optional, and you can update it any time you’re checked in.

I want to play: not ready to go yet? Tap it, pick a day and a start time, and others can see who wants to play when. Tap “Count me in” on a time someone else picked. When three people want the same time, the club Slack channel gets a note. You can take your time back any time.

I’m on my way: pick 15, 30 or 60 minutes so others know someone’s coming.

The Warehouse is open for pickleball on weekdays: the 55+ session from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and open play from 3 to 7 p.m. Check-ins there follow those hours, and the box says so when it’s closed for an event.

No sign-in: your location never leaves your phone. A first name is optional and shows only until your check-in or time ends; it is never sent to Slack or email. The club keeps only hourly totals and the start times people ask for, until an hour after they begin.

The same counts show on the pickleball cards in the Bloomington 3D map. See each place on the map: RCA Park, Switchyard Park, The Warehouse, Twin Lakes, Karst Farm Park, or all the pickleball courts.
